The Geneva Powerhouse is an event, exhibit, meeting, and performance arts and culture venue in the heart of San Francisco’s District 11
Performing Arts Workshop’s mission for the Geneva Powerhouse is to foster community and increase access for the residents and workers of District 11, Lakeview, and OMI communities and to support Black, Indigenous, Queer, Asian, Pacific Islander, and Latine arts and artists in San Francisco.
Your partnership with us funds our arts programs, performances, and increases community accessibility for this cultural arts space. Through your contributions, we have been able to provide 100+ no-cost youth arts programs, both on and off-site.

This historic building is the beautiful canvas for your next event
Capacity: 181 (with tables and chairs), 389 (standing)
Main event space: 1,785 sq. ft.
Sprung bamboo dance floor: 1,380 sq. ft.
Green room: 190 sq. ft. (available for storage only)
Lobby: 250 sq. ft.
Mezzanine: 380 sq. ft. (available for staging)

This rate is for lead agencies or renters who do not reside, operate, or are employed in San Francisco’s District 11, Lakeview, or OMI communities, and organizations that do not have tax exempt status.
Rates are subject to change based on cost of operations.
Rental Fees:
Weekday (Monday – Friday from 8 AM- 1 PM including set up and take down) rates: $75/hour
Weekday Evening (Monday – Thursday for events ending after 6:30PM) $300/hour, *6 hour minimum
Weekend Day (Friday – Sunday, from 8 AM-1 PM) $80/hour
Weekend Evening (Friday – Sunday, for events ending after 1 PM) $495/hour, *6 hour minimum
*NOTE: There is a six hour minimum Evening rate fee for any event ending after 1pm. Total event time includes setup and takedown.

This rate is for lead agencies or renters who reside, operate, or are employed in San Francisco’s District 11, Lakeview, or OMI communities.
This encompasses the 94134, 94132, 94127, or 94112 zip codes. Not for profit organizations with tax exempt status outside the designated area may also be considered for this rate if approved.
Rental Fees:
Weekday Day (Monday – Thursday 8 AM-1 PM) $65/hour
Weekday Evening (Monday – Thursday for events ending after 6:30 PM) $210 per hour *6 hour minimum
Weekend Day (Friday – Sunday, 8 AM-1 PM) $70/hour
Weekend Evening (Friday – Sunday for events ending after 1pm) rates: $385/hr *6 hour minimum
*NOTE: There is a six hour minimum Evening rate fee for any event ending after 1pm. Total event time includes setup and takedown.

All events will incur a flat $460.00 cleaning fee.

The Geneva Powerhouse requires “CGL” = Commercial General Liability.Renters must provide a Certificate of Insurance that lists the following organizations in the coverage:

San Francisco Recreation & Parks
Renters must include a General Liability Additional Insured endorsement, with limits equal or greater than $1M Each Occurrence, $2M General Aggregate.
