Alex, He/Him
Teaching Artist

Alex is a Juilliard dance alum, former Visiting Scholar at Stanford in innovation leadership, and a creative director working at the intersection of the arts, design, and innovation. He has held creative leadership and innovation roles at several Bay Area arts organizations including YBCA, SFBATCO, and AAACC, and has taught and lectured in creativity at institutions such as CIIS, the University of San Francisco, and UC Berkeley at the graduate and undergraduate level. His creative work spans dance, theatre, design, and music, where he’s been awarded multiple honors. In 2025 he created famine, a multimedia dance-theatre work presented as part of Juilliard’s Future Stages Festival. He founded an arts innovation studio, Margin, in 2022.
