Isabella Gutierrez is a Mexican-Korean-German Folklorico dancer from the South Bay. She has been taking dance classes since she was 5 years old and began dancing folklorico professionally in 2016. She has trained with Ensambles Ballet Folklorico de San Francisco, Grupo Folklorico Viva Mi Tierra, Grupo Folklorico Los Laureles, and has performed at different schools in the United States, Chile and in Mexico. Isabella always encourages her students to learn about the mexican culture through the outfits music and movement used in folklorico, and strives for every individual to explore the art of movement and the joy it brings with it.
